With a dazzling smile and irresistable charm, Anthony (Matt LeBlanc) comes to Los Angeles from the streets of New York to visit his Uncle Vinny (Jay Acovone). Vinny lives a reformed yet guiltriiden life due to a tragic even that occurred years earlier during a Mafia shoot-out. Tony is the l ife of the party and takes the pretty LA girls by storm. But the past will not stay sealed, when Anthony witnesses two of his friends senselessly killed in a drive by shooting. The victims are the grandchildren of Willy (Lou Rawls) who with Vinny must find Tony before he can track down the killers and avenge his friends' deaths.
